Charlotte Fandey holds a BA in Technical Theater from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Prior to attending Tai Sophia Institute, she worked in various aspects of Theater production as well as in website design and desk top publishing. Although these jobs fulfilled her creative dreams, Charlotte longed for work that would be of more service to the world.

Charlotte began acupuncture as a patient in the student clinic at Tai Sophia. What she found was that acupuncture gave her a structure to cultivate her emotional and spiritual health along with her physical well-being. “I came for my allergies and found that my soul was tended,” she remembers. Charlotte immediately realized that she wanted to offer this possibility to other people.

In Charlotte’s experience as an acupuncture intern, she’s learned that true healing comes from cultivating personal wisdom and body awareness. “It’s about being able to integrate our life’s experiences – physical, emotional and spiritual – and it’s about feeling whole, complete and satisfied no matter what your personal circumstances may be. To me, being whole means being able to embrace both the joy and the pain of life.

Charlotte is committed to creating and holding a healing space for you to discover your own unique gifts. Through compassion, presence and non-judgmental tending, she invites you to realize the beauty and possibilities in your own life.
